Rosa Parks was an amazing woman. She refused to give in to the demands of "the white people." She stood up for what she thought was right even after she was arrested for not giving up her seat on a bus to a white man.
She organized and collaborated with civil rights leaders, including boycott leader Martin Luther King, Jr. helping to launch him to national prominence in the civil rights movement.
